REID (Research and Evaluation in Education) is a scientific journal established in 2015 by the Graduate School of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) and Himpunan Evaluasi Pendidikan Indonesia (HEPI) Yogyakarta. Initially, the journal's title was mistakenly published as "Research and Evaluation in Education," so earlier articles may appear under this incorrect title. However, the ISSN correctly reflects the journal’s title as REID (Research and Evaluation in Education). This double-blind refereed open-access journal is dedicated to disseminating cutting-edge knowledge across various educational settings and disciplines, addressing their unique phenomena.

History of the Publisher

REID (Research and Evaluation in Education) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Graduate School of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta in collaboration with Himpunan Evaluasi Pendidikan Indonesia (HEPI) Yogyakarta. Since 1964, UNY (formerly known as the Yogyakarta Institute of Teacher Training and Education (IKIP)) has experienced significant growth as a higher education institution over time. UNY has become a renowned educational institution with a global reputation for its education, research, and community service across various fields of study offered through its faculties and units. Graduate School of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) is an educational unit equivalent to a faculty, tasked with managing master's and doctoral programs in the fields of study developed by UNY. The Graduate School of UNY has strived for facilitating resources in educational settings to achieve their academic goals and treasure their potentials to perform well in society. In addition, Himpunan Evaluasi Pendidikan Indonesia (HEPI) Yogyakarta is an association of educational research and evaluation experts with high dedication in escorting research in evaluation, measurement, and assessment in educational settings. The cooperation between the two strengthens their visions to disseminate high quality research articles and contribute more to advance knowledge in educational communities.

Publishing schedule

This journal publishes its issue biannually (in June and December).
