Once approved by the editor, submissions are evaluated by peer reviewers, whose identities remain anonymous to the authors and vice versa (Double-blind peer review). The editorial board is responsible for the final decision on the acceptance or rejection of a manuscript, based on the reviewers' recommendations (peer-reviewed process). Our Research Integrity team may occasionally seek external advice beyond standard peer review for submissions with significant ethical, security, biosecurity, or societal implications. This may involve consulting experts, the academic editor, or additional reviewers with specific expertise, and could include deciding not to pursue a submission further.

Open Access Policy
The journal operates as an Open Access platform. • Lack of Contribution: Manuscripts should offer new knowledge, have a significant impact, and advance research in the journal's field.
• Study Design Flaws: Poor methodology, sampling, or analysis may lead to rejection.
• Unclear Objectives: Research objectives must be clear and well-defined.
• Structural Issues: Manuscripts should have a well-organized structure with all necessary sections (introduction, methodology, results).
• Writing and Language Issues: Good grammar, writing style, and language consistency are essential.
• Non-Adherence to Guidelines: Manuscripts must follow the journal's formatting, citation style, and submission requirements.

Authors will receive a prompt rejection with reasons for the decision. This process ensures that only promising manuscripts proceed to peer review, saving time and resources for both authors and reviewers while maintaining the quality of published content.

Funding
Authors must disclose all funding sources and financial support they received for their research. This includes describing the role of any sponsors in all stages of the study, from its design to manuscript submission. If there were no sponsors involved, this should be clearly stated. Please ensure that this information is accurate and complies with the guidelines of your funding agency.

Images and Figures
Authors should only include images and figures that are essential to their research and improve the understanding of their work. Avoid adding unnecessary illustrations that don't contribute to the scholarly value of the article. As part of the agreement with the journal, authors must obtain written permission to use any copyrighted material from other sources. This includes text, images, data, audio, video, and any supplementary files. Authors should use the provided form to get the required permissions.

Misconduct
Jurnal Inovasi Pendidikan IPA takes research misconduct very seriously and will act accordingly to protect academic integrity, following guidelines from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Misconduct includes but is not limited to:

Special Issues

Use of Generative AI and AI-assisted Technologies in Writing
Authors using AI and AI-assisted technologies to aid in writing should focus on enhancing readability and language clarity, rather than replacing critical authorial tasks such as generating scientific, pedagogical, or medical insights, drawing conclusions, or making recommendations. AI technology must always be supervised and managed by humans, and all generated content should be thoroughly reviewed and edited. While AI can produce seemingly authoritative content, it may be inaccurate, incomplete, or biased. Ultimately, the authors are responsible for the integrity and accuracy of the content they generate. Authors are required to disclose their use of AI and AI-assisted technologies within their manuscripts, including a statement in the published work. This transparency fosters trust among authors, readers, reviewers, editors, and contributors while ensuring compliance with the terms of use for the relevant tools or technologies. Additionally, authors should refrain from attributing authorship to AI or listing it as a co-author, as authorship involves responsibilities and tasks that can only be fulfilled by humans. Each author is responsible for verifying the accuracy and integrity of the work, approving the final version, and consenting to its submission. Furthermore, authors must ensure the originality of the work, confirm that all listed authors meet the authorship criteria, and guarantee that the work does not violate third-party rights.

Use of AI in Peer Review
To protect authors' rights and maintain research confidentiality, the journal prohibits the use of AI tools like ChatGPT in the peer review process. The journal is currently evaluating AI tools that meet their standards and may reconsider this policy in the future.
