Aims

Jurnal Penelitian dan Evaluasi Pendidikan is an online journal providing access to refereed articles that can have a positive impact on assessment, measurement, research, and evaluation. Manuscripts published in Jurnal Penelitian dan Evaluasi Pendidikan are scholarly syntheses of research and ideas about methodological issues and practices, and offer a clear and unique contribution to the literature. Jurnal Penelitian dan Evaluasi Pendidikan is intended to help members of the community keep up-to-date with effective methods, trends, and research developments from a variety of settings.

Jurnal Penelitian dan Evaluasi Pendidikan is committed to highlighting research that focuses on equity in assessment and measurement. To that end, we encourage the submission of manuscripts that address issues of equity and fairness – particularly articles that focuses on the assessment experiences and outcomes for historically marginalized populations.

Scope

Jurnal Penelitian dan Evaluasi Pendidikan publishes research articles on an empirical research study conducted by the author(s), guided by research question(s) or a hypothesis or hypotheses, using specific methods, which reports on the results of the study, explains the significance of the study for practice, with limitations noted. This journal is established to become a forum for scholars and practitioners to share and debate current and major issues in the field of educational evaluation.

Jurnal Penelitian dan Evaluasi Pendidikan publishes high-quality research manuscripts of assessment, evaluation, and methodological studies in varied educational settings and disciplines with their own particular phenomena, as well as relevant studies that address issues of current education concern. The journal discusses scientific research on how assessment and evaluation can improve educational outcomes; research on how different disciplines can inform theoretical, practical, and political perspectives at different educational levels and systems.
