The Effect Of The Missouri Mathematics Project Learning Model Assisted By Geogebra On Student's Mathematical Communication Ability
Abstract
The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) learning model assisted by GeoGebra on student's abilities in mathematical communication. This research categorized as quantitative of experimental type with Quasy Experimental Design research design. This research population is all grade X MIPA students of SMAN 11 South Tangerang. The purposive sampling technique was used. Among the population, a sample of 38 students was selected for a class of experiments and 34 students for a class of controls. The method of data collection applied was a descriptive test. This research used a mathematical communication ability test on the material of the system of three-variable linear equations. Further, t'-test used to analyze the data. The finding of this research showed that MMP learning model assisted by GeoGebra influenced mathematical communication of students with moderate category.
