Aims & Scope

Aims

Sports science continues to develop rapidly worldwide, encompassing fields from sports performance and education to sports medicine and technology. In Indonesia, this evolution presents unique opportunities and challenges shaped by the nation's distinct socio-cultural, geographical, and infrastructural landscape. Jurnal Keolahragaan aims to be a premier platform for disseminating high-quality research that directly contributes to and reflects this dynamic development within the Indonesian context. The journal publishes original research articles, review articles (including systematic reviews), and case studies.

The journal provides a critical forum for work that addresses pressing issues, innovative applications, and empirical findings relevant to sports science, sports performance, physical education, and sports health in Indonesia. While maintaining a particular interest in research that impacts local and regional sporting ecosystems, the journal also warmly welcomes international submissions and collaboration that offer comparative perspectives, methodological advancements, or analyses with transferable insights for a global and Indonesian audience.
